Chocolate glazed Florentines
Florentines. I made those ;D
Here is the recipe:
1 large egg white, at room temperature
1/3 cup (50g) powdered sugar
1 3/4 cup (130g) blanched sliced almonds
a good pinch of flaky sea salt
grated zest of half an orange ( i would add more)
((I added some diced figs))
Allow oven to heat for a few minutes. Adjust temperature to 150C. place the almond sliced mixture in tablespoon sizes on a baking sheet. Bake for 15 minutes.
Once out of the oven allow the florentine to cool.
(( I had no dark chocolate so i used some melted semi sweet chocolate chips for glaze))

Chicken Sandwich
So Midnight snacks,,, get some chicken, mixed it with some thousand island dressing, mustard,salt and black pepper. Then place the chicken mix on toasted bread with cheese and add tomatos, onions and lettuce
( our lettuce is hidden beneath the egg)
and then we eat and forget to take a picture...
and then our brain functioning after 12 goes...
"Qui est venu en premier, la poule ou l'oeuf ?"
(which came first, z chicken or z egg?)
hmmm...
go back to bed
I say egg!!

and then I noticed the ID tag on the right and realized it's my brother who took this shot.!!
LOL. I am laughing out loud just because I should have known.

A home in California
This house is called Vienna Way residence, designed by Marmol Radziner architecture firm.

A very serious chocolate addiction
Seriously, seriously, what is the first thing that happens when people tell you " OH, you've lost weight?"
You feel good, really good. You feel happy, really happy and then… what do you do?
You EAT.
I'm not complaining by all means.
We should eat.
So, I'm feeling good, really good, I'm feeling happy, really happy, especially as I come across Pierre Marcolini praline chocolate.
It's yummy and delicious, by the time this post is out the only thing I'll be losing is these 3 pieces of chocolate from their tiny bag, forever.

Everything there was at a bargain price.
