I received an email with the following instructions regarding how the site works:

The process is as follows:

1. You price your product/s and send them to our office.
2. We determine their condition.
3. If we think they are NYV, you're in! Off to hair and makeup they go!
NYV photographs your products, market, and ship them off! If your product/s isn’t sold, you have the option of getting it back. Can we hear a Win-Win anybody?

CARAMEL is Exquisite

I just had the perfect afternoon tea with the best afternoon cakes from Caramel.  The apple cake is so good and my favorite is the pumpkin cake.  Actually, I can't say that, because every time I try a new thing it becomes my new favorite.  I love their shop, and I look forward to their new outdoor seating.

Caramel is located in Bnaid AlGar, Block1, AlManar Building facing Gulf Road.

The Best Sandwiches

 It is so simple to make the best cheese or steak sandwich.  

Just use the best ingredients and keep the flavors simple.

Here we made a Brie sandwich with baguette,  tomatoes,lettuce. 

 And for the steak sandwich, we used ciabatta bread, honey mustard, horse radish, arugula, and sirloin steak.

Seriously good eats

Not for the faint hearted.

Pop Tarts for Breakfast

From time to time I get a pack of pop tarts from the supermarket, but I just came across this home made recipe from Smitten Kitchen and I can't wait to try it out.  I just hope I don't make a big mess.

The Riding House Cafe

For a very casual atmosphere and a lovely lunch we went to The Riding House Cafe, situated near Oxford Circus, on 51 Great Titchfield Street.   

This place has the perfect Sundae with the yummies bits of crunchy honeycombs and raspberries.

These images were taken yesterday @ London's Fashion Night Out around Bond Street.  The atmosphere was great, the crowd was stylish and stores were serving things like free Ice cream, cotton candy, juice, and giving away some free be'z. 

A Carnivore's Heaven

HAWKSMOOR is seriously the best steak house in London. And, yes, I was so into the food I just couldn't really bother taking a picture of it.

My husband and I ordered the following:

For starters:
1. Steak tartar
2. Bone marrow and slow cooked onions (unbelievable) ***
3. Grilled Bone marrow

Main Course:
1.Beef dripping chips (hmmmmmmmm)
2. Sirloin steak ( double thumbs up)
3. Hawksmoor Burger ( goood)
4. Lobster sandwich **

Dessert:
1. Sticky toffee pudding with clotted cream (unbelievable) *****
2. chocolate tart with mint choc chip icecream (yumm)
3. Bramely Pie with icecream ( for those who like tarty flavours)


So, in conclusion, starve yourself before going there, I've never tasted sticky toffee pudding like this before.
Oh and book a table, its always full.

We had some at the real food festival,  oh yum!,,,
