Nuqat Workshops are Back

"Nuqat is an organization that strives to create a platform for creatives in the Middle East. After a successful Design Conference in 2010 "Visual Pollution in The Arab World", we have received great reviews and requests for more lectures and workshops. As a continuation to Nuqat's endeavor to elevate creativity in the region, we are now providing three workshops within three weeks; from the 2nd till the 18th of May 2011. We are proud to have Abyat as our sponsor for this event, as they always support the youth and the creative field

The workshops include calligraphy, branding and graffiti art.
All workshops will be held at the historic building "Alqibliya School" in Kuwait City.

DINNER by Heston

Heston Blumenthal is Britain's most genius chef.  In February, he opened a new restaurant called Dinner at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in London.  For those of you who know of Heston and his mad science methods of cooking at the Fat Duck, you will find the food at Dinner as a complete opposite, simple with no furor.  Heston has revived the British platter, introducing old English recipes and their historic dates through out his menu.
It’s a must if you are in London Town.

Kuwait Paper Dump

Kuwait Paper Dump

I like this.  Kuwait Paper Dump
Here's what it says on their site:

What is Kuwait Paper Dump?
Ever thrown away a brochure, a leaflet, or a take-away menu thinking you wouldn’t need it again only to regret it shortly after you’ve disposed of it?
Kuwait Paper Dump is exactly what the name suggests: a place where scraps of paper are stored digitally – ‘dumped’ – so that anyone can quickly and easily refer to them for information.
Kuwait Paper Dump’s Goals
Our mission is to reduce the need for paper by creating an online reference of information that is traditionally distributed by paper media. Kuwait Paper Dump is an environmentally oriented not-for-profit organisation.

Do you fly with BA?

Watch this video.
This is an episode from the Fonejacker,  a BAFTA winning series on UK's channel E4.
This is a real prank call made by British Iranian actor Kayvan Novak.
;)

When there's a Tan, add Pink!

I really like the color scheme of these rooms.  It feels like a revival of the past.
