Lets Barcelonaaa...

The images above are of the Mandarin Oriental Barcelona. The Hotel opened its doors in November 2009, and I think its calling for mee :)
I've been to Barcelona 3 years ago and stayed at the Hotel Arts. It was, at that time, the "it" Hotel there. However, I did not feel the wow factor.
I loved Barca but wished there was a better place to stay. So now, the better places are here.
Mandarin is located at the Passeig de Gracia, as is the other place I'd like to stay in, an apartment/hotel called EL Palauet. There are 6 apartments, 150m2 in size. I love the interior design. ughh!

Enjoy the images below of El Palauet

John Rocha's Holiday Home

Ooooo... Laa Laaaaaaaa, Ooooooo... Laa laaaaaaaaaaaaa
.... I WANT THIS

Well, what can I say, I love Cap Ferrat, and I love simple homes.
For fashion designer John Rocha, he found both, the perfect retreat in the south of France. A home with White walls, limestone floors, and simple geometry.

Dreamy New York Loft

A 7,200 square foot loft occupying the last floor of a red brick building in NYC is bought for $6.9 million in 2006. Then for 10 months, the owners worked on remodeling and demolishing it to its 19th century shell. They created a wonderful bare minimalistic look with neutral colors and a simple facade.

A-Cero, Spain

The house above is in Galicia, Spain and designed by A-Cero Architects.
They also designed La Finca Contemporary Residential House in the Images below.
I love both projects. The travertine cladding is beautiful, and the landscaping as well.
